18 U.S.C. §2257 / §2257A Statement

Purpose of this statement

United States law, including 18 U.S.C. §§2257 and 2257A and implementing regulations in 28 C.F.R. Part 75, imposes performer-identification and record-keeping duties on persons who fall within the law's definition of a producer of certain depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct.

This page explains Ojerk's relationship to material supplied by or linked from independent third-party adult platforms. It is not intended to alter any obligation that applicable law places on a producer or custodian of records.

Ojerk's role

Ojerk is primarily a discovery, indexing and referral website. Ojerk does not itself hire, contract for or arrange the participation of performers in the independent live webcam streams, provider previews or third-party scenes referenced by the website.

The underlying streams, performer accounts and provider-hosted media are operated by independent webcam networks, studios, performers, publishers or content platforms. Ojerk does not represent that it is the custodian of performer-identification records maintained by those third parties.

Records for third-party content

For content produced by an independent provider, studio or performer, any records required under 18 U.S.C. §§2257 or 2257A and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 are the responsibility of the producer or other legally responsible custodian for that content.

Visitors seeking the location of records for a particular third-party depiction should review the compliance statement, terms or legal information published by the platform or producer responsible for the underlying content.

Independent provider responsibility

Third-party webcam and adult-content platforms referenced on Ojerk operate independently.
